Supper Time
While enjoying our supper, we had a visitor: a chipmunk. When we put out some peanuts for it to take back to its home, a pair of Blue Jays decided they would like some supper, too. Although I have admired them around the neighbourhood on occasion, it was pure heaven (and some luck!) to watch them so closely. Shortly thereafter, a hawk let out a cry and the jays soon disappeared. Watching the action out our patio doors is more exciting than an episode of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.
