I Love Cheese
Although this image is from last week's whirlwind Montreal trip, it could very well be the motto for many people here in the Ottawa region. After all, there are over twenty cheese emporiums and dairies in the immediate area, so there are obviously many who enjoy a good artisanal snack every now and again. In fact, there's an Ottawa Foodies page devoted to the subject! My eldest enjoys this type of cheese on his poutine and can – at the ripe age of 9 – tell if it's another brand. He has recently said he'd like to be a farmer... but I was secretly hoping he meant a lavender farmer.
