Celebration of Summer

Tomorrow is the Labour Day holiday. There are only two days before the kids go back to school. When it rained this afternoon and we decided against going to the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Gatineau, I can honestly admit to being a bit relieved. Instead we stayed at home, caught up on a few things and enjoyed our favourite meal of homemade pizza. In the hustle and bustle of everyday achievement (and I know our pace will soon break records!) it is a real treat to be able to enjoy a quiet, stress-free day and celebrate the last hours of a beautiful summer.
