Lumière
Once a year, there is a magical lantern festival about light and creation called Lumière that is held at Stanley Park. This year the weather wasn't terribly cooperative, and after a down-pour, the organizers had to call it quits. They are probably wishing they would have postponed til tomorrow! By the time I arrived, it was a pitch black lonesome scene, and volunteers were tearing down the displays. For those who registered for the the First AfterGlow Photo Marathon, I hope they arrived before the rain and took plenty of mystical photos with those disposable cameras (yes, really!) for the AfterGlow Photo Exhibition, taking place September 7-9 at the Corridor Gallery located at 200 Crichton Avenue.
