Watch Out for the Flying Pucks!
Yes, hockey season is once again upon us. These past two weekends, Ottawa hockey players of all ages and levels were skating their hearts out in hopes of a decent team placement. And it seems the Ottawa city workers were busy over the summer installing these new signs at the public ice rinks. (Or maybe the signs were there all along but I was too busy watching to notice the signs before?) The signs are warning spectators to be pay attention to the ice in case a puck, stick or other wayward piece of equipment comes flying their way. Let's hope for an incident-free season!
