Visit, Explore and Discover
A few short weeks ago, the Canadian Museum of Nature re-opened its doors after an extreme makeover. Originally built as a tribute to Queen Victoria – hence the original name of Victoria Memorial Museum carved above the entrance – this 100 year-old castle undertook a facelift and brought the museum into the 21st Century. With new interactive exhibits, state of the art conservation techniques, relocation of green spaces, a new high definition theatre... the list goes on and on.... the Museum really is a great place for everyone to spend a day learning more about the science of life. If you aren't able to enjoy the Museum in person, you can explore via their user-friendly interactive site from the comfort of your own home.

I just know I'd enjoy this museum! And I love the mix of old architecture and the soaring glass.
Hi Hilda. Well, it is 'only' a five hour drive from Toronto, you know, depending on how long and action-packed your visit there will be:)
