Give Away What?
Now that Spring has arrived, it is a good time to get cleaning. Have clutter you no longer want? Hold a garage sale! It's a popular event in every North American neighbourhood this time of year. And then, in Ottawa at least, if you end up with items that nobody wants to actually pay for, you can leave the items on your lawn with a "FREE" sign. Or, you can do like this neighbourhood has done and organize a Give Away Weekend. As in Eric's post the other day, we never do see the kids who spray the graffiti on signs, walls, fences, etc. Thank goodness this is only a temporary sign and was only altered to make us all laugh! In case you have never heard the acronym, STD = Sexually Transmitted Disease.
