A Cut Above
Yes, Eastern Canada's obsession with French Fries and Poutine continues! Never before have I seen such a well presented chip stand, and so this one out in Carp is a pleasant surprise. Even though it was raining (at the weekend when I took the shot), it is nonetheless a cheerful spot to stop and have a bite of lunch or a 'light' snack. No pun intended. Actually, if you go here you can see the nutritional breakdown of an average order of poutine. Really, fast food is fast food. So I don't know about you, but I'd rather support a local business person who offers ambiance, a bit of character AND a delicious plate of hand cut fries any day.

That chip stand is absolutely the sweetest I've ever seen. Love the yellow truck!
It's so cute! Love the colors.
That color will catch my attention any day!
I did try poutine when we were in Toronto (we've been back since Friday last week). Everybody was telling me about it so I just had too. It was kind of strange for me, having fries with gravy. I liked the cheese curds though.
It looks sooooo cute and pretty!
