But rather, this scene reminds me of those Bionic Woman episodes in the 1970s, especially the revolving tunnel episode involving the Sasquatch! This particular tunnel is much more important than that: it is actually the entrance to the Diefenbunker, a cold war museum and underground bunker located in Carp, Ontario 25 km west of Ottawa. The Central Emergency Government Headquarters was originally built 'in secret' between the years 1959 and 1961 to keep Canada's 13th Prime Minister John Diefenbaker, the Governor General and 535 others safe in case of a nuclear attack. The four underground levels are approximately 100,000 square feet (480 m2) and offered everything necessary to run the country for 30 days. Even the hospital could take care of every ailment imaginable except for brain or open-heart surgery! Thank goodness it was never used for its original purpose, and after being declared a National Historic Site, ceased operations as a communications centre in 1994.

It couldn't be recommendable for people with claustrophobia to visit it.
Just a thought, perhaps the country would be saved if the politicians were the first exposed in an attack.

I'm not sure if your comment is directed at American or Canadian politicians... Regardless, it is not funny or taken lightly considering the recent foiled terrorist plot here in Ottawa. This is not a political site in the least so please refrain from comments like that in this forum. Thanks.
