Shave & A Shoe Shoe Shine 5¢
The economy's not very healthy, but I don't think you'd be so lucky to gain this fellow's services as cheaply as that! Probably more like $5 without the shave. The lost art of the shoe shine is being resurrected in various locations about town. This photo was taken on Sparks Street, one of Ottawa's oldest streets. I invite you to take a load off, sit back and enjoy the "virtual" tour without even scuffing a toe.
