Too Close for Comfort
Two years ago, while on our way driving across Canada to our new home here in the Ottawa area, we passed by this church near Aylmer, Québec which I fell in love with instantly. Seems someone else has, too, as it is no longer being used as a church but is now someone's home. At least it looked that way by the swing set and personal-type items out in the back. Could you imagine living so close to a highway? Yes, believe it or not, this is Highway 148 and behind that semi truck are a few windows... that were OPEN. Oh, the irony of living in a Church, such a peaceful haven, that is located next to such a busy roadway!
