Hot Cross Buns, Anyone?
While in the Glebe last weekend we stopped into Trillium Bakery and were in heaven. Or at least I was – my hips not so much! The atmosphere was that of an old-fashioned mercantile, with handmade breads and jams of every type and fruitful flavor imaginable lining the walls on hand-tooled wooden shelves. With so many of our bread products commercially produced these days (and so many nutritionists scorning bread altogether!), it's a real treat to find a bakery that believes in the wholesome goodness of grains. BTW: The Hot Cross Buns were the most delicious and flavorful I've ever eaten!

What a charming little shop. I am so tired of corporate chains.
