Welcome Home
In the same neighbourhood as the tragic fire photo from the other day, stands this welcoming abode. Even though the sky was grey, the 1890's home stood out because of the cheerful and unpretentious colour scheme. The decorative wooden features on the porch are a common sight in the Glebe, although each house usually has a uniquely individual approach to the final presentation. Not only does the diversity of architecture make this neighbourhood so attractive a community, but also the diversity of the individuals – from Students to Ambassadors to Ministers in the Government – who populate the eclectic area.

It looks pretty, and has a nice mixture of colors.
In some ways it looks a bit like the style we have over here on wooden cottages.
Nice door too.
What a handsome, well kept house! It's dreamy! I just wonder what it looks like inside! Couldn't you knock on the front door...
