All-Aboard
Raining yet again today, and so it would definitely be nice to take a trip somewhere.... With over 503 trains in operation weekly, covering 12, 500 km of track on 16 routes, VIA Rail – Canada's railway – serves over 450 communities across Canada. In 2007 alone, 4.2 million travelers rode the track from coast to coast and North to Hudson Bay. Their customer service track record sits at 98% and 40% of the riders have said that VIA's service exceeds their expectations. I wonder if this statistic came before or after their strike at the end of July this past summer? Canada is a beautiful country with so many unique landscapes. Consider sitting back and taking a train across if you have the time to spare. 12,500 km is a long way to travel and you wouldn't want to miss a thing!

I did it once, whilst studying in Montreal in the early 80es, Gaspé to Vancouver, and then a bit up north, don't remember the name of the place. Canada is truly beautiful, and going by train is an excellent way of seeing it's beauty
