All Together Now....
Canadians skate. With winter hanging around for so long we had to find something to do to occupy the time! For those who don't aspire to be professional hockey players, the art of skating – for fun or for competition – is a gratifying pass time. Skate Canada is a professional association that promotes a healthy lifestyle, as skaters of all ages are encouraged to get active on the ice. This weekend, over 800 adult skaters descended upon the nation's capital to participate in the 2010 Skate Canada Adult Figure Skating Championships featuring free skate, interpretive, dance, pair and synchronized (as demonstrated here by a group of skaters from Mississauga, Ontario).

I like watching Figure Skating, and I still remember
"the famous two" at Lillehammer under the Olympic Games....
