First Things First...
I'd like to start this evening's post with a big Vielen Dank to Steffen over at Stuttgart Daily Photo for the Sunshine Award!!:) A very thoughtful gesture to discover as I stumbled over to my work station bright and early this morning! Hopefully this weekend I will have more time to figure out how to pay the Award forward, so please accept my apologies for not posting it this evening. In the meantime, stop in to say hello to Steffen and capture a glimpse of his wonder-filled blog – you'll be glad you did!
As for this evening's post, I'm feeling a little sheepish... hahaha. Okay, Not so funny:) But I did come across this sign-laden electricity post on my round about return from swimming lessons and thought it worthy to share. Seems sheep farming is on the rise in the Ottawa Valley, and in fact, Ontario and Quebec are the two top sheep-producing provinces in Canada. As an example, in January alone, the Ontario Sheep Organization recorded 8,770 sheep that went to market – a far cry from the 47 head of sheep that came from France in 1647! There are now approximately 50 breeds of sheep that produce meat, wool and dairy products for our young, but growing, nation.
