Azrieli Theatre, Carleton University
Beyond this façade of stone and glass of the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism are brilliant students focusing their studies in a choice of areas including design, urbanism, conservation and sustainability, or philosophy and criticism. The school is a leader in the field of architectural schools in Canada because of its broad range of courses and specialized programs, including environmentally sustainable architecture. Endowed by the Azriel Foundation, a Canadian philanthropic organization established by David J. Azriel, C.M., C.Q., March, Their mission is to support programs – including scholarships, research, Jewish communities and Holocaust commemoration – that promote access to education and the achievement of excellence in various fields of knowledge. David Azriel himself is an inspiration as he triumphed over many a tragedy in his lifetime. In 1984, he received Canada's highest civilian honour and was named to the Order of Canada; recognized for his numerous contributions to individuals and to society the world over.

Sounds like the school is named after a great man. I hope its students find inspiration in his life.
