Right Place, Right Time...
for a photo opp that is! For this driver on Stittsville's Main Street it was a different story. The driver wasn't paying attention – obviously – when he decided to summit this 3-foot-high snowbank and take out the light standard. As it was only 11 o'clock in the morning, one would only hope alcohol wasn't involved, and as he was talking to the officer with animated hand movements, he didn't suffer any sudden ailment at the wheel. Maybe his cell phone was ringing and 'pulled over' to take the call? It's luck that there wasn't a pedestrian on the sidewalk, is all I can say.

Whoa! It's easy to slide the wrong way on snow and ice!
Some people should stay home in this kind of weather, or take the bus.
Great news photo.
Yes, definitely is easy to slide around in the snow and ice. I learned to drive in the stuff so know this well!:) But a driver just doesn't slowly creep up a three foot embankment, either.
Could he have slipped?
'Texting' perhaps?
Probably sneezed.
ouch! he's lucky he wasn't hurt
